NEW Baby

It's not what you might think at first glance (at least I'm knocking on wood it's not!). Sadie has been helping mommy around the house with chores & earning money for the past few weeks. She finally earned enough money to buy this baby doll she's been wanting. Technically it's not the "exact" one she had originally pointed out, but she sufficed for this one since the "pink baby with the pink shoes" had been vamped from the shelves; most likely due to it's popularity for $9.00. Adding to her collection---we've got to be up around 20 babies by now; you'd think I have more than one daughter around here! (don't tell Jori, but little brother likes'em too!)But to see her proud little face marching through the aisles at Wal-Mart, handing her new "treasure" to the cashier & paying with her own hard-earned money...it was too darn adorable! She drew a crowd from everyone within a mile radius it seemed. That infectious smile & innocent sparkle in her eye! Gosh---what I wouldn't give to freeze that moment in time!!! =) Just to make it last a little longer, I took a picture...of course.
