As many of you know Jori & I...we never take on small projects, only big ones. It began lastnight around 9:00 pm. A little dreaming while sitting on the front porch watching the rain fall. A little lightning/thunder show too. We talked about our "sticks" in the ground (dead trees that never took off in the 4 yrs. we've lived here) so we began yanking and digging in the dark. That turned into shoveling wheel barrows full of rock out of the front yard and hauling it onto the side of the house this morning. Next we'll patch up some dead spots up front yard with new sod and HOPEFULLY, LORD WILLING...we'll actually finish this project BEFORE our trip to Cali. I think to myself a lot "we're crazy." But that's us!
NOTE: we are currently taking a break.
Jori ran to get the Expedition "check up"
I'm resting my already sore back.
In the meantime; here are some pics.
I guess you could consider this another "before" pic, I'll be posting
the "after" as soon as we have new grass.
P.S. Technically it all began with mowing of the lawn lastnight & daddy's little helper.
